Remarks
Admission is totally based upon the NEET exam. Based on merit there will be seat allotment through Gujarat state quota 85% and 15 % quota for NRI. Reservations OBC-27% Sc-7 % St-15% No admission process is standard and no need to improve.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to become a doctor and serve people and also little bit earning too,and its very honourable job to do. There is enough faculty, per subject minimum 8 teachers availble so per year faculty students ratio is 24:200 average All faculties are post graduated in their respective departments and highly knowledgeable. There are mainly 2 internals,1 prelims and 1 university exam every year and its very tough to battle id you are not regularly studying.
Internships Opportunities
After completion of 4.5 years mbbs students have to compulsory do 1 year of internship but student can also get transferred to other colleges willingly.Internship itself have to do in college associated hospital.A stipend of 15000 average given.
Fees and Financial Aid
For sc/st students there is a gujarat government scheme called freeship card scholarship and provides free of cost education. For others students there is also MYSY scholarship in which students get 50%of college fees. Inters are given 15000 rs per month.
Campus Life
There is a student union in college which collects,discusses student issues, and demand college administrative for solutions. This union is led by the hostel warden and general secretary. There are also club activities going in respective batches like literature club,nature club,dance club etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is fine with 2 people per room but now due to increased seats, there are 3 students per room which are quite uncomfortable otherwise hostel is good. Meal quality is below average, but not so bad. Students have to fill up the form at the admissions time itself.
