Sidtm at a glance

To be eligible for selection in SIDTM, one needs to apply for SNAP exam and score the required cutoff. The cutoff was not revealed. After the result declaration, I got an admission call from SIDTM. The admission process starts from here. It started with a Written Ability Test which took place a week prior to the GDPI round. The GDPI round consists of a group discussion and personal interview. After this every candidate is given a score that decides whether the candidate gets selected or not in the first merit list. Overall, the admission process was smooth and a good experience.

The course offered here is not only an MBA degree but It gives you an MBA degree with a technological edge. In today's world of rapid digitalisation and technological advancements, this degree gives you an edge over a normal MBA degree. The faculties are very skilled and highly qualified with many faculties having deep industry experience. The teaching methods used include roleplay. presentations, group discussion etc which are a must for any MBA degree. The exams were very timely and well managed and it was fairly easy to pass provided the student put a little bit of his own effort

The college provides good internship oppurtunities with varying roles like sales, business analyst, digital marketing, analytics, cybersecurity, risk management etc. The highest stipend offered was 80000 per month while the average of top 75 was somewhere between 20000 to 30000 per month.

Students become eligible for final placements when companies start visiting the campus in the third sem. Students are also offered various internship opportunities which include summer internships and also offers PPO's based on the internship performance. 100% of eligible students get placed every year in final placement as well as internships. The highest package offered was somewhere around 29 Lakhs and average was 10+ lakhs. Plethora of companies including very reputed ones like the big 4 visit the campus eery year.

The Fees including hostel and mess is around 16 lakhs. Scholarships are available which are provided by Symbiosis International University.The college provides you with a wide variety of internship opportunities and very good final placements. 100 per cent eligible students get placed every year.

SIDTM has a beautiful campus. It has all the basic amenities with well-equipped classrooms. There are various student-driven clubs and committees, for example, the admissions committee, academics committee which improves the teamwork and managerial skills of a student. Clubs include finance club, analytics club, telecom club etc. The college also has an annual magazine that gives you insights into the digital and telecom world. Sports facilities are very good and the campus has a well equipped gym. The library has a huge network of books and journals which helps a student in study and research.

The hostel rooms are well litand have all basic facilities like a bed, cupboard, table, internet connection and attached bathrooms. The meal quality is good and variety of food is provided over breakfast , lunch and dinner. The hostel allocation is done randomly by the institute and is fairly affordable.

Yes, there was a written test as well as a group discussion and personal interview. The written ability test had very normal trending topics which basically tests how well you can put your ideas on paper. In the group discussion round people the group was given a topic and then each individual had to give his/her inputs which basically tests how well you can put forward your ideas verbally and also checks your verbal ability. The personal interview is one to one interaction between the student and the faculty where the student. Preparing for these rounds just requires a little bit of practice. Prepare well for the common questions that are asked in an interview. Also try to improve you verbal skills for the GD. Keep on writing to prepare well for the written ability test.
