The admission process was smooth and questions were asked from the analytics domain as well. The application was separate from other CAP colleges. The application fee was Rs 1000. The eligibility criteria were 80 percentile in VARC and 75 percentile in DILR and quant.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to pursue my career in analytics and I also had an interest in coding so I went for this course. Student to faculty ratio is good but not that great and might need some improvement in future. All the faculties have PhD degrees.
Internships Opportunities
Big brands like Dalmia, RBI, Xiaomi, etc have visited the campus for summer internships. The stipend offered is really good and the average stipend is around 50000 rupees. There are many live projects as well.
Placement Experience
Since BA is a new course, the placement figures are not available as of now. But the placement figures of the earlier batches have been really great and a lot of big brands have visited the campus for the final placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 1320000 for the whole course and fees is increased every year. There are various scholarships for meritorious students and there is no stipend for students on the campus. There are summer internships for the students.
Campus Life
There are many clubs and committees run by the students and also there is a fest named Arunya and also there are other college events namely Kritansh as well as marketing day. Classrooms are well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is near Amritsar airport and is well connected with the main city. The hostel is very big and has all the basic amenities as well. The food menu is pretty good and very diverse as well. The registration process is also smooth.
Interview Experience
I read about statistics and various analytics techniques for the interview. I was asked lot of questions about graphs and python programming. I was asked about current affairs as well as undergraduate subjects.
