My experience at kalna college

I got admission in kalna college by applying offline and go through the merit list round. At each round every candidate is allowed to choose the group they want as per their merit rank and they can choose the group they want or they can wait to get seat in future if anyone skip the seat and finally got admission in kalna college.

Course curriculum is good in the beginning. We introduced to the basic knowledge that we have already studied in previous class but in more detail. It get more detailed with semester by semester. This course include semester pattern in each year there are two semester.

The internship here are not with companies as the course is releted to research in basic science. The college offers paid internship in top college of the India during the summer after 3rd year of the course to academically well performing students (about 15 students out of 60).

The students of kalna college have many placements and job offer of very high salary. We can choose whatever professor and ask internship in their lab. Lisc also funded students who go for summer project abroad. IISRO, DRDO and other R&D companies come here for students.

The fee structure is very good. For each group it is different but you can consider it in between Rs 7000 to 10000. For general categorie students. And the students belonging to category like OBC,ST, SC have low fees.

Extra curricular activities are available a student can take advantage of it if he/she wants to. NSS i. e. National Service Scheme is also available so students can participate in social activities. Sports are available and special sports department is also available. There is special sports quota to take admission in my college.
