Remarks
The course required us to be undergraduates as well as we should have written CAT exam. The admission process was smooth but there could have been some improvement in the waiting list process. The application was separate from the CAP process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being a fresher, I was confused about whether to go for job or pursue higher education and ultimately I decided to go for an MBA. Faculty to student ratio is good and also most of the teachers are nice. The marketing faculty is really good. Term exams are held after every 3 months and are moderate to difficult level.
Internships Opportunities
The average stipend was around 50000 and many big companies like outlook group, dalmia group, V Guard etc visited for summer internships. The highest stipend was 170000 and the roles were offered in finance, sales and marketing, operations, HR, etc.
Placement Experience
The placements are 100 percent and some reputed brands like Accenture, Deloitte, Ernst Young, KPMG visit our college for the final placements. The average package is around 12.5 lakhs per annum. The profiles offered were good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total course fees are slightly higher each year. There are few scholarships available based on merit and some based on merit cum means. There are many internships available for students in reputed companies.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest named Arunya and there are various events conducted by various clubs and committees. The library is not that big but contains an ample amount of resources for the students. The classrooms are well equipped with basic amenities. There is also an annual sports fest called Kritansh
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are pretty spacious with an attached toilet and bathroom. The hostel is situated in blessing city near Amritsar airport. The hostel menu I diverse and takes care of all the students from different parts of India. The registration process was smooth.
Interview Experience
There was a personal interview only. There was no GD in the process. The qualifying percentile in CAT was 80 in VARC, 75 in the quant and lrdi section. I was asked questions based on my extracurricular activities and also my hobbies. I prepared from my CV and also read newspapers
