Remarks
Eligibilty os 12th standard with PCM, if anyone is coming through entrance (UPCET) then he has to score as much so that he would be near about 8000 General category rank to get in Mechanical Engineering. Direct admission are also their for good percentage holders in 12th class. Some times low percentage holder also get admission depend upon applications. You have to conatct to number given on college website they will direct well how to get direct admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Mechanical Engineering because of my own interest in Machines and Automobile. Faculties of college are of the very top level they have vast knowledge and experience. College have good number of faculties so their is no pressure on them to hold more sections or classes. If I talk about frequecy of then I can say that on every month their was exam. ST1 CT1 ST2 CT2 PUT & UT
Internships Opportunities
Only toppers from Sections got chance to get Internship from college side other students got chance of internship on their own basis. There are many courses offered by AKGEC SKILL like Siemens CAD CAM, Fronius Welding, CNC VMC Course, Kuka Robotics, Bosch Rexorth, 3D printing and many more these courses are paid upto 6- 10 thousand rupees, duration of courses are 1-2 month and they will give you internship certificate. Various project ate gone under SAE AKGEC & Samveg society. SAE AKGEC gives opportunity to participate on National level student formula competition, Efficycle event, E bike event etc.
Placement Experience
From 7 semester students are eligible for placement process it may vary according to Training and Placement Department. There are very few companies fore core Mechanical Engineering Job most of students are unplaced beacuse few conpanies come and select few students almost 80% students does not get job placement from college. If I talk about highest package during my placement turn that goes upto 3.5 Lakh per annum which is given by HI-TECH GEARS for profile of Trainees other companies offer 3lpa 2.5 lpa and below. Many of student based on their caliber, effort & luck are able to get placement Off Campus means get placement own their self basis not by college. Many of students prepare for GATE exam to get selection in IIT for MTech and PSUs which offers a attractive package and most of other students go for government jobs preparation.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't have much knowledge about the hike in fee but during the four-year course, there is no hike. If you want to get a scholarship then there is the very least financial assistance to troopers. But from the government, there is the assistance of almost half of the fees. For a government scholarship, one should be eligible for a scholarship like his family income should be below 2 lakh per annum and he also has to produce income and caste certificates to fill scholarship form.
Campus Life
There is enjoyment like the annual fest just because of discipline. But each year you got a chance to be part of the Sports fest which is gone for almost 2-3 weeks then there is the award ceremony. There are 2 more events kite flying for Anti Raging awareness and the Holi celebration event. There is a fresher party for 1 st year and in the second year, you are mandatory to pay fresher party fee because 2nd year organized a fresher party for 1st year students. And same you have to pay in 3rd year for a farewell party for 4th-year seniors.
