The admission is done according to the State Pre- Engineering Test Ranks and the branch & colleges are alloted accordingly . If you have a decent rank then you can get the branch & stream of your choice otherwise it can be difficult to get the preferred branch of your choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was of very old pattern but now it has been changed . Now , the students are being taught different coding languages from 1st year only . So it helps to advance in your career and choose the perfect domain for you.
Internships Opportunities
As far as internships are concerned the college doesn't provide much opportunities for internships. They tell us to take care of it by our own. There are a few companies and start-ups which we are introduced to by our Training and Placement Cell.
Placement Experience
Final year students are eligible for all the on campus placement opportunities . A lot of reputed IT companies hire from our college. Companies like IBM, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, TCS, BYJU, TECH MAHINDRA, HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES, and a few more hire employees from our college the average package is 4 LPA. Though some companies like TCS , WIPRO & TECH MAHINDRA have package in the range of 3.25 to 3.5 LPA. If you have what it takes then you definitely can get higher packages from these companies. The Highest package of the 2022 batch by far is 7.5 LPA given by CAPGEMINI for the role of Senior Analyst.
Fees and Financial Aid
The per semester fees for different branches varries between 35000 to 40000. It varriates by small Margins of about 1000 to 1500. The Scholarships are available for candidates that lie under SC/ST/OBC category , but only if your caste is of Chhattisgarh which means your certificate declares that you are a domicile of the Chhattisgarh State.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs and social groups, some tech fests also take place for example Hackathon, etc. The college has a NSS unit and it is very active. Our NSS unit has participated in a lot of national level competitions and also received medals. Talking about libraries , yes we have a library and it has quite a lot of books. A lot of sports events happen in the campus over a year but college doesn't provide any equipments, the students take care of it by their own.
