Remarks

I applied through CAT. Eligibility for getting an Interview Call for GEM is 97 Percentile with a cutoff of 91 Percentile in each of the sections. The Selection Process is the first to shortlist followed by GD and then PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course consists of all the facets of the business i.e, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Analytics,etc. NITIE is also known as Mecca of Supply Chain so as per the interest, students generally take electives from Operations & Supply Chain. Placements is never an issue and faculty is also as par with the other IIMs

Class Size: 304Course Fees: INR 1463000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I would say companies that come for Summer Internships are far better than most of the campus across the country and some good companies prefer to recruit students after evaluating their performance in Summer internships. NITIE has maintained a record of 100% in Summer Internships as well. Talking about companies, it includes all type of companies from different sectors like Consulting, IT, FMCG, etc

Placement Experience

NITIE's placement is one of the best in the country with companies coming from different sectors like Consulting, FMCG, Manufacturing, IT, etc. It is 100% and will be 100% as always as the college has proved itself it in the times of recession of 2008 and COVID as well. Average CTC for 2020-22 Batch would lie somewhere around 22-25 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

As compared to IIMs which charge hefty fees of 20L+ for an MBA course, NITIE is better than most of the IIMs. According to me, students preferring to opt for Ops/Supply Chain should prefer NITIE to any other college when compared with placements and fees which is 14.63L for 2 years.

Campus Life

NITIE is also known as God's Own Campus and is being said for the reason. It has it's own pond and has Vihar Lake at its back. The campus is lush green throughout the year. The library is one of the biggest in India and offers a variety of reading materials with remote access availability.

Hostel Facilities

NITIE's Taylor Hostel in India's Tallest Hostel with 16 floors and gives an eyecatching view of Heeranandani Buildings and a beautiful view of Vihar Lake. Food quality is also good. Since it is a full-time residential course so hostel fees are included in the college fees

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
