Remarks

Eligibility - should have appeared for jee main, should have passed the 12th exam. You have to fill an online application form on the JAC Chandigarh website. There are many reservations you can have a look at on the JAC CHANDIGARH website. The admission process is very smooth and satisfying.

Course Curriculum Overview

From childhood, I am having an interest in electrical hardware electronics stuff that's why I chosen this branch The faculty ratio is about 1 teacher to 45 students. The faculty are highly qualified with an impressive research background. Term exams held at the end of semesters and those who studied at medium level can pass it easily.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies like Deloitte, zs associates, Amazon, American Express, KPMG and Gemini solutions, zscalar, Goldsachs man. You have to do one major and one minor project throughout your engineering.

Placement Experience

The placement is excellent for TECH companies but not good for core branches. the highest package in 2020 was 45 lakhs per annum and the average package was about 7 lakh per annum 95 percent of students of CS/IT got placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees are about 98000 per year. There are many scholarships for merit holders, economically weaker sections, and many more. Job for cs/it are excellent but for core branches, the placement is not so good.

Campus Life

Goonj, robofest, udyami are conducted every year and are very enjoyable. There are 2 libraries one in UIET and another is the AC JOSHI LIBRARY PU. The university had won the MAKA trophy consecutively three times in a row. The sport of PU is the best in the country. There are many social clubs like BPC, MAG BOARD, JUGAAD ROBOTICS CLUB, STAR ALUMNI AFFAIRS, SPORTS COMMITTEE, NSS, NCC, and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees are 12000 per year. Hostels quality is very good but not available for all students. it is given to the about top 10 students of every branch w.r.t JEE MAIN due to fewer boys hostel, but girls hostel are enough there is no accommodation problem in that. The registration process is both in online and offline mode, you can take PG in sectors 15,37,23 in Chandigarh.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
