I took RPET entrance examination , i got 75 marks out of 100. I selected the college as it was alloted to me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The offered branch was Computer engineering . Structure was as ordinary as it must not had been. there were only 2 or 3 permanent teachers , others were guest teachers . Everyone had been focusinng only on book materials. No practical knowledge was distributed in the atmosphere.
Internships Opportunities
No, my college does not provide any internship. No company visits the campus for interns.
Placement Experience
There is an agreement between the college and TCS , so TCS visits every year and recruits 60 to 70 students overall from all branches. TCS offers 3.3 lacs per annum. No other company visits the campus. A BPO company visited the campus once.
College Events
TARANGINI the annual event name. It is organised every year , Where cultural activities like dance,play.singing are held in night and technical events are held in day hours like computer games etc. College also conducts a 3 days sports week every year where various games are held and winners are prized in TARANGINI.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for a semester is around 31 k for SFS seats and GAS seats cost as low as 16k. TFWS students pay only around 6k per semesters. So for GAS and TFWS students fees is easy, on other hand SFS students are charged very high.
Fees and Financial Aid
Rajasthan govt. provides scholarships to SC/ST students via Samaj kalyan scheme to students securing good marks.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility after 1st year . Students have to arrange their rooms themselves across the city. This is really annoying. It costs 5k to 8k per month for a student .
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumni network in the college. Students are not connected through college.
Exam Structure
Exams conducted by the university RTU had been theory based exams. There had never been many practical questions in a examination paper. Practical exams conducted had been useless . Students used to cheat and none prepared for the practicals as they never needed.
Admission
When the college alloted to me i visited the college in the reporting days after allotment. There were systematic arrangements for filling forms etc. It took the whole day to complete the reporting process.
