Entrance Preview

I have taken JEE Mains . I got a rank of 5255 air, I want to join IIT but due to some reasons i could not make it so i thought of giving another attempt to IIT but my mains rank was good so i thought if i could get good college through mains rank i would like to join that college.

Internships Opportunities

The college itself does not provide internships but many companies will be visiting.

Placement Experience

Placements are vey well almost 85% students get offers the packages are also decent avg is 4 lpa. Companies like microsoft, directI Bajaj , leyland, tata etc.

College Events

The events like tech fest TECHNOZION and cultural fest SPRINGSPREE are celebrated . They are national level fests with world class competition .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible though some people get reimbursement fee will be around 80k for us but the coming batch have hike as 1.5 Lac.

We can get state scholarships as per respective states apart from that the institute also provides merit scholarships for those who give outstanding performance in their respective departments.

Coming to campus life the gender ratio will be 70:30 ( men: women)the count of women is quite less.

The alumni network, we have a wide network and all our alumni are connected through alma matter. Every year institute conducts alumni meet and also special meets for silver, golden jubilee alumni's.

Exam Structure

The exam is 20 marks for class room quiz test 30 marks for midterm and 50 for the end that the institute also provides merit scholarships .

Admission

The admission is done by CSAB (central seat allocation board) it takes our JEE main rank and conducts online choice filling. After that we get college and branch as per our choice order. Then we have to report to the nearest verification centre for the certificate verification.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams can be done for once in two months and that are considered as mid examinations before that there is a lab internal after 2 months again these will happen after that lab externals and semester will be done total semester will be done by 6months including preparation holiday and regular holidays

I selected civil engineering course as of my intrest because civil was my interest since the beginning It's just developed like that .I feel like my civil related subject faculty are good.i hope my 4years jounery in snits goes well.As of now civil engineering is treated good in my college.

College for people with more money

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

Comming to course if you study for atleast imp u will survive no matter how hard the paper is and curriculum is easy to get on there is no issue in syllabus and other study related but he have to put minimum efforts to suvive through backlogs

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

Pros and cons of nitw

I choose this college over other college because of the placements and I heard from someone that we will get too much opportunities from here and we are getting it One of the reason is I wanted to go away from home . The alumni connection of the nitw is the strongest one.
