Gaurav Jain's Review On Fostiima Business School, New Delhi

Memorable experience at IFBS, learnt new things, became patient. I was a very aggressive person before I joined this college due to which I had problems in making projects in a team, but slowly I got control over my anger and understood how to have patience.

The candidate should have appeared for any aptitude test like CAT, MAT, GMAT and must score more than 40% in the graduation with any subjects of any stream. After the filling up of enrollment form, there is a group discussion round where a group of 10 students have discussions about one topic and then there is an interview round where they ask your personal experiences likes and dislikes

Course involves subjects like Business ethics, Product Management, Customer Relationship Management, Consumer buying behaviour, and others like Analytics, Corporate Social Responsibility.

At our time there were few companies who visited the college and recruited some students but i think its not the case now. The companies that came up for the internship were Britannia, Tata Power, Lite Bite Foods and a lot was there to learn from these companies as we learned the basics of marketing like content writing, analytics, corporate sales etc.

Quite decent placements were there as companies like Aditya Birla Group, IBM, Airtel, came up with such good packages and respectable profiles like Marketing Executive, Marketing Research, Research Analyst, and others.

Many of the events were parties like freshers' farewell, fest but there were few days where we celebrated sports day, Christmas, Independence day and the festival of Diwali is celebrated here with such great enthusiasm. The college also organizes some tours but the cost for these tours are not reasonable

Fees at that time was 5,00,000 all in all and if going by the detail, 45,000 to be paid as the amount of registration, 1,00,000 per semester

scholarships were not offered to any student by the college because I asked almost everyone from my batch and they said the criteria was so high that nobody could get any amount of concession

Life was pretty much fun and there was no competition like stuff . Anybody would help if they knew the topic. The campus area was so confined with not much number of students so almost everybody knew everbody

Hostel facility is not there as it is an institutional area and no accomodation is provided by the college, so the students have to find a pg on their own, Luckily I stay in south Dehi so I did not face any kind of difficulty in terms of travelling to college

Being an alumni, I know my batchmates but apart froom them i dont know anyone from the super senior batches.

Exams involved mid terms and semester exams and there were some assignments given to us that had to be completed before the commencement of exams. A strict pattern was followed in the exams as there two faculties who were incharge of one room and the director and dean used to check the students on random basis

Superb faculty with amazing talent, wonderful skills. They have such unique ways of teaching and making you understand a concept so well that no other faculties of any college can beat upto it, also there is a faculty events day as well where the faculties participate in games and other events
