Central Institute Plastics Engineering and Technology, CIPET Chennai is a reputed government institute for skill development. I joined her for POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PLASTICS PROCESSING & TESTING. The two-year course duration eligibility is graduation in Science. There is no age restriction to join the course.

PGD PPT Admission Procedure is through CIPET JEE. CIPET JEE is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted for admission to courses in CIPET. Admission of candidates is conducted on the basis of performance in the CIPET JEE entrance exam
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is always industry-relevant and rigorous. The campus is having infrastructural facilities in the areas of Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics Processing, Testing, and Quality control. The curriculum is designed for 'hands-on' learning on types of equipment in today's plastics industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities
INR 80000 is the fee for the two-year program. INR 20000 is the per semester fee. Other fees include insurance fees, examination fees, caution fees, mess fees, admission fees, hostel fees which are not included in the above fees. The fees for foreign students will be a little higher.

Exam Structure
Semester wise exams are conducted on time. The result publications, internals, practicals, project submissions, assignment reports, etc are all in the correct time schedule without any delays.

Teachers are the best feature of CIPET. They are so supportive and they provide good teaching also. Some of them are strict.
