Remarks
IITM is a well-known university in India. In order to get admission to an MBA here, you need to have a masters degree in any one of them: Chemistry/Computer Application, Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Environmental Science or Computational/Information Sciences/Electronics Sciences/Agriculture/Economics/Commerce with the least 60% marks. You also need to have CAT scores and if you get shortlisted then you have Group Discussion and Interview Round.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the Institute gives us a typical and testing scholarly establishment before they start courses. The educational program and instruction at IIT Madras draws in the personalities and urges us to apply specialized information, think imaginatively, assess fundamentally as well as instil a feeling of initiative and venture. The educational plan is inventive and thorough, pointed toward preparing us to become productive chiefs. The scholastic schedule is a composite of Pre-term, first year, Summer internship and second year. The professors in our college are exceptionally proficient and supportive. All the faculties are highly educated and experienced. I haven't seen any of the faculty who is not hesitant to answer any of our questions.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of internship opportunities are provided to the students. My first internship was with Flipkart and I got to learn a lot of things from there. I worked under HR and learnt all the skills that were required for my career. It was a 3-month internship for which I was paid too. There are lot many other organisations that provide internships to us. Some of the recruiters are ICICI bank, Flipkart, ANI, Myntra, Oyo, etc.
Placement Experience
The placement rate is great in this college. Last year placement rate was 96.5% and the second last year it was around 94.7%. In my batch, the most noteworthy bundle of a student was 14 LPA and the least bundle was 6.5 LPA and the most noteworthy bundle is 9.5 LPA and the least was 5.6 LPA. The top companies that recruited us for placements are Microsoft, HCL, Citi Bank, Mahindra, Tata, Wipro, Google, etc. Currently, I am working with Flipkart as a full-time employee and got placed because of my 3-month internship with them.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIT Madras encourages meritorious students by providing different types of scholarships. The Institute also helps students requiring financial help with selective scholarship amounts and fee waivers. There are also some special scholarship schemes for SC, ST and female students. Some of the scholarships are given by previous alumni of the institute while others are from companies and from the Government of India. Campus Life
The grounds in National Park is the most amazing aspect of IIT Madras. You will get many benefits as you are studying on an IIT campus. There are great libraries, free clinical benefits, and a wide range of sports and games are a couple of them. The office is open 24x7. Study halls are air-conditioned and have great Wi-Fi availability. SARANG is the organization celebration which is held by over a financial plan of 5 crores. IIT-Madras conducts the yearly B-school celebration - Samanvay. HR Club (Prabodhan), Consulting Club (Cognora), Marketing Club (MarkIIT) and so forth are clubs of IIT. The students get loads of freedom to foster their abilities during college life.
Hostel Facilities
A single room will be shared by two individuals. From the second year onwards you will be allowed to new lodgings where the majority of individuals are given are single rooms some actually have shared however greater rooms.
