Remarks

Students who have cleared their class 12 exams are taken admission to this course. In order to take admission, they should apply through the admission portal on the college website by filling up the requisite fees. There is no reservation system in our college. So I don't see any improvement that needs to be made.

I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future so I chose this course. Here there is a large teaching faculty that is highly qualified and efficient in order to make every topic very clear to students. The exams have been held half-yearly which is easy to pass.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5500 per year

Placement Experience

Students in their final year are eligible for campus placement. Big industry and Mnc visit our college to hire students like the Tcs Aditya Birla. The highest package offered is around 13 lacs and the average package is around 3 lac per annum. Around 60% of students get placement. I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is being reduced by college authorities for the students who can't afford to pay the higher fees. Scholarship is being also provided to the students especially to meritious students who score good marks in exams.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held in the month of October every year in the College Assembly. The Library is equipped with modern facilities like Kindle books as well as there are books on different topics. The classrooms are large and airy. The college has its own website.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
