Exploring and Learning in IMS

Admission to the BBA course a candidate must get a minimum of 60 percent marks in the 12th Board exams and must have passed the 10th Board exams with a minimum of 65 percent marks. Students can get the application form from the Admission Cell at IMS or they can fill an online inquiry form through the admission link of IMS on its website. I haven't availed of any reservation benefits. Admission is confirmed based on the merit and interaction of the candidate.

I opted for this course because I aspire to become a Human Resource Manager. IMS is best for the BBA course that is why I took admission at IMS. The faculty of IMS is knowledgeable and highly qualified with many years of teaching experience. Their teaching methodology is unique. All the professors have deep knowledge of their respective subjects. The faculty is concerned for every student and is very helpful. Two exams are held per year in 6 months.

Companies that offer internship opportunities to the student of IMS are Flipkart, Deloitte, Sony, Kredily, Big Bazar, Moglix, etc. Most companies offer sales and marketing roles. I have done an internship at Sony under sales profile for 35 days and had got 15000 as a stipend. Live projects are offered by Big Bazar every year for the students to get a live experience of 7 days under sales profile.

The students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Companies that visit IMS are Sony, Flipkart, Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, HCL, Moglix, etc. The college provides 100 percent placement assistance. The highest package is 13 LPA and the average package is 6 to 7 LPA. The profiles offered by the companies are Sales and Marketing, HR, etc. My plan after getting the degree is to become an HR manager.

The fee for the BBA course is 135000 including the uniform price. The cost to study is worth it as IMS provides immense opportunities for the students to explore. IMS gives great opportunities to the students to grow in interest areas like sports, cultural activities, or academics. There are many scholarships given by the College. The scholarship is given based on academic performance, sibling study in the same college, parents working for the defense, child of a widow, and SC/ST. I am still a student of the 3rd semester, we get placements from the 5th semester.

College life at IMS is exciting. There are many events conducted in the college. One of the annual fests of the college is Markfest which is a mega event of the marketing club at IMS. In Markfest many competitions are conducted for the students of different colleges. Revised and new edition books are available in the library. Classrooms are wifi enabled with a projector. The college has a Basketball court, games room, Badminton court, etc. Extracurricular activities include art and craft, dancing, singing, and many more. IMS has more than 23 student-driven clubs. Some of the clubs are Mathemania club, HR club, Finance club, Marketing club, Sports club, Art and Craft club, etc.

I have faced a personal interview for taking admission at IMS. The interview included questions based on general topics and questions related to commerce. Eligibility criteria for admission to the BBA course are that the candidate must have passed the exam from a recognized Board with a minimum of 65 percent marks.
