Remarks
I got a rank of about 6k, so I have been assigned IT department through general category. The admission is through the EAMCET exam. Also payment seats are available. Reservation benefits are provided as per the government guidance. The complete admission process is clean and easy. There are not much drawbacks in admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for CSE nad IT in counseling. Based on my rank I got IT seat. The faculty:student ratio is about 1:15 . The faculty are well qualified, many of them are PhD holders. The teaching process is mostly interactive. Mid exams were conducted twice and End sem exams once per semester. You can pass the exams easily but scoring high is difficult in my view.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided in the 3rd year. AICTE virtual internships from companies like AWS academy, Red hat academy, Palo Alto academy, BluePrism foundation etc. are provided. They help us to build the resume and give some industry experience. It makes us industry ready to get placed immediately after graduation.
Placement Experience
Students are allowed to sit for placements from 3rd year 2nd semester. About 150 companies visited our college till now. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, tcs, Cognizant, and others hire the students.About 80% of the eligible students are getting placed.Highest package is 24 LPA from Amazon and average of about 4.5 LPA. I would like to go through the placement process after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 135000 per year and some extra expenses. The examination fee is about 1250.Fee hikes are not regular but the management keeps asking for the payment of fee very frequently. You can apply for govt provided scholarships.
Campus Life
Many fest are conducted in SNIST. Sreevision, Adastra , Dandiya night etc. We can experience fests in every 2 months frequency. The library has vast no. of study material, you can lend the books, journals for reference. The classrooms and labs are fully equipped. Sports are encouraged but not to a great extent I would say. Social groups or clubs like Arts club, Techvision club, Start club and many other technical and other clubs are established and run completely by students.
