Eligibility for gtbit is 12th pass with a minimum 65% and you have to under the rank of IPU University rank list in your selected course. Application fees is 650-700rs approx. There is reservation for sikh minorities and all india reservation minority certificate. Admission process is good in this college. This college is affiliated with Indraprastha University (IPU)and IPU takes Admission through JEE MAINS rank/marks. The maximum ranks required to get into this college is 2lakh in JEE mains entrance exam. The verification original certificates of student take much time .
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is B.tech - information technology I choose this course because it includes technical subjects. Faculty is supportive and has good knowledge of their subjects and students in every course is 120 and further divide into two groups. Every teacher is a graduate and Ph.D. holder in their profession. The teaching method of teachers is practical and theoretical. The college takes exams in two terms with a single semester. The paper in the exam is medium-level.
Internships Opportunities
Getting Internships are hard to make the on-campus drive but it is good to make your resume good and apply off-campus drives and ask for a referral on linked in and other internship platforms. We have to make unique projects for off-campus and on-campus placement.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year of the student is eligible to sit in the campus placement drive. Amazon, Oracle, Direct-i, TCS, Wipro, and many startups are visited in the campus placement drive. The placement is decent. Avg package: 4-6 lakh per annum Highest package: 28 lakhs per annum 70-80% of students get placement through campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure is vary for every IPU affiliated colleges.ln GTBIT, Fees is 1,13,000 per year. For delhi students there is a scholarship program called meritcum scholarship program for those students whos family income is less than 5lakh per annum and percentage of scholarship is vary on income per annum and 100% if you have ration card . And you can also take loan for fees called student loan .
Campus Life
Anugoonj is the fest of IPU and gtbit have tech-cultural event . Liberary is well maneged and opens in only college hours.every book related to the course are available in library. Classrooms are good and desks , boards are good ,classes are non AC, infrastructure is good . Campus size is 50 acres . Their are many society for every extracurricular activity and sports.
