Journey from school boy to graduate

College stood out 2nd in UPTU in terms of marks that is only good thing I can say about the college .

UPTU my rank was around 13000 and I choose this college because it was a subsidiary of GLA Mathura and it was a renowned college .

UPTU sets a specific standard for its curriculum and all the colleges do follow the same curriculum some of the subject were maths, electronics, NAS and many moreYou will get more detail on google about the same.

Placement is not good in the college generally which ever company comes in the college was not specific to college all of the colleges were invited for the same so there was no benefit for the college students some of the companies that came to campus were HCLInfosys TCSN iit Technologies .

Again some of the companies that came to campus were HCLInfosys TCS Niit Technologies only 30% of the total students were placed .

There were not much extra curricular activities organised in the collegeonly couple of events were organised like once a fest was organised other than this I dont remember much events .

It was expensive an year fees cost me around 1.1 lakh without any transportation and hostel charges mess charges were ok we have buses hovering around nearby cities which can add up to your fees .

No there was no scholarship offered from the college side even I havnt heard of any external source of scholarship .

Gender Ratio was poor: 1:8 was the ratio with most of the boys being there hostel parties nothing from college side other than fresher and farewell politics not really .

At my college time we were having only boys hostel facility which have rooms on sharing basis rooms were ok cons rooms dont have attached washroom.

Yes we have a alumni meet every year and we all are interlinked to GL bajaj facebook group and colleges allumini website we were the second batch of the college so we dont have any senior alumini .

There were sessionals which occurs thrice a semester and some percentage of it was calculated in the Main exam .

When I joined the college at that the faculty was quite inexperienced but now I have heard that the college is persisting the same faculty from 2006 so that have quite a exp group of lecturers there.
