The admission process is done on the basis of jee mains rank including class,10,12th mark sheet. For counseling, you have to visit its site and have to register. There are certain benefits to communities like obc , sc/st, and other backward classes. The admission process is too smooth. It performs online counseling in this pandemic. But you have to go to college for getting an identity card while admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would have chosen the BTech course in It branch just to be getting placed in better companies. Talking about faculty, all are not good, to be honest. However, if you are a meritorious student you can get support from faculty staff. Teachers are however well qualified. In each branch, there are two shifts with different sections. There are a total of 60 students in each section. Terms exams are regularly after 2-3 weeks.
Internships Opportunities
College also provides internship and also help you to do so. But you have to do a little bit by your own for getting internship. To be honest, students who want to get internship have to do efforts with their own for good companies. You have to be active enough for internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
For cs and it students if you study well you will certainly get job offers. In the third year itself, you are eligible for campus placements. But to be honest good companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft recruit only 2-3 in numbers with good packages, Tcs company is a mass recruiter here. In recent year 4 students with 18lpa got recruited in JTG. I personally just want to be getting placed in these companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure is average for BTech like in four years you have a total sum of amount 460200 in rupees including all fee ie library, security and all. You can also get some scholarships based on your academic performance and income criteria if you fall under some categories. Certain names of scholarships are Saksham yojna, merit cum scholarship, EWS scholarship, etc.
Campus Life
Talking about college campus size, it is quite low like it lies in around 8-9 acres of land. There are playing grounds for basketball, Cricket, football, badminton. You feel a good and healthier atmosphere here. You will certainly get a good college life in terms of enjoyment. There is a big and good library also with good atmosphere .you can get wifi also. But usually, it is crowded. There are also various social groups, clubs run by students for tasks like dancing, music, coding, and all.
