Remarks

To take admission in ADGITM there are two ways:- 1) IPU CET the entrance exam by IPU university than through counseling by IPU. 2) JEE mains score for which counseling takes place by IPU. The very first step to take admission in my college is to fill IPU admission form online /offline. Then in the counseling, college is allotted to the student according to the preference filled by the student in the admission form. After allotting college you need to visit the college on given dates to verify the documents submitted in form and pay fees. If talking about improvement then I want only one in admission procedure is that they should give students more days to visit the college and verify docs. So that we get more time to understand the things and do the work calmly with focus.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I opted for B.tech(engineering) in the IT branch. I chose to engineer because I was clear from 11th to do so also I want to learn coding and programming I chose the IT branch(because i couldn't get CSE). Here the faculty: student ratio is pretty good we have lots of assistant professors, lab technicians, and other teachers. Most teachers have P.hd, M.tech and other higher degrees they are really brilliant at all. My personal experience is great with teachers, all faculty members are quite helpful, knowledgeable, understand our problems. Also, we have mentors for any problem of students. Exams are the scariest word but if you study regularly and with focus, you can easily pass exams here. Exams are conducted as:- In one semester- i) midterm 1 ii) midterm 2 iii) End term If you take classes properly and go through the teacher's notes you can pass exams easily also can get good marks because most teachers make their acc. to exams and precisely. This is my personal experience with faculty and exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

Since I am in 2nd year so I don't know so much about the internships but some of the information which I got from faculty members is that college provides us internships after 4th sem and 6th sem. Students can do internships from college as well as outside but in the 4th sem, we have to do internships in college or in summer breaks, after the 6th sem we can do scholarships from outside with college approval. Recently we have internship offers from two companies in machine learning and artificial intelligence with a very low price they would teach us then give us projects in their company with a suitable stipend. They also provide us job offers if we are good at work while internship. I don't know much about the tasks and projects are given to the 3rd and 4th year students. But internships and tasks add value to their resume and help in placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 8th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies visit our college like HCL, TCS, INFOSYS, Amazon, tech Mahindra, etc. Google, Microsoft don't come to our that is bad for us. Most students who got placed are from CSE and IT branch with 90% placements. Students of other branches have 60 -70% placement records but this year ECE students placed with good packages(10.5 lac highest from ECE this year). A CSE girl got placed this year on amazon with a 32lac package. My plan after my degree are to get placed with a decent package in a descent company (simple).

Fees and Financial Aid

As I belong to middle-class family so for me 1.2lac per year is so high. The fees structure is high for us(like the middle class and those who can't afford it) but compared to other institutions it's pretty low. Yes, there should be some decrement in fees. There are some scholarships like financial aid by the central govt.,EWS scholarship, special scholarships for girls also, academic scholarships for toppers, and some others by IPU. We get mostly facilities in our college like labs, good infrastructure, a good crowd of students, helping faculties, canteen, beautiful campus, etc. We don't have a hostel. I think there should be hostel so the students from outside Delhi and other regions can get hostel facilities. Here mostly students get placed on campus. So many companies come to our college. This year a girl placed with 32lac package on amazon and some of the students get 19 lac package. The average package was 6-7 lac this year. One can also apply for off-campus placement.

Campus Life

5

Due to covid-19, I couldn't enjoy college life. But online we get lots of clubs, societies, events, and activities which are really good. There are drama societies, dance clubs, music societies, sports, and other extracurricular societies. I am also an NSS society member with is run by the central govt. And helps needy people, nature, and the public. Mostly societies are run by senior students and supporting faculty members which appreciated students to boost their confidence and talent. For CSE and IT branch, senior students organize events and activites by big companies and industries to aware students of new technology and markets. yesterday we have an event for the wrong side of the road' which was about cons. Of the wrong side driving a social cause. So these types of events and clubs which are organised and run by students in our college.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
