Remarks

Eligibility for the course is to pass with atleast 50% in your 12th board exams. Application forms were released online on the university page, application fees were only 500. Entrance exams during the covid were taken offline there should be an option for the online entrance examination

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the solar energy course because I see many new oppotunities in the increment of solar energy in upcoming years for 40 students there are 6 teachers for different subjects, Some of the faculty are the JMI alumni themselves and about others I don't know much of Nowadays classes are being taken online due to covid protocols they teach using self made presentations in a good manner. I am just in the first semester, will update when terms exams will held.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

VIKRAM SOLAR, TATA POWER SOLAR, INDO SOLAR, WAAREE,etc are the companies that often come to college for placements. We choose a different project for different needs such as sales in solar, designing of solar panel for generating more power and less material for the cost cutting.

Placement Experience

From the fifth semester, students are eligible for campus internships , companie often take the students for the intership training more than eighty percent of the batch are selected by the reputed companies during the placement period.

Fees and Financial Aid

This course is quite costly compared to other courses in JMI, but the teaching justifies the fees very well I don't know about the scholarship thing, but faculty here have already guaranteed future jobs, and the opportunities in this course.

Campus Life

I am new to the university I don't know much about the fests that are held here , but the acitivities are briefly discussed on the Jamia website. The facility of Library is excellent here , the library has more than enough books for the students to borrow and study for their whole semester

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Jamia internships are very helpful

Yes I also apply in nit Uttrakhand and i got admission there but i choose jamia milla islamia because of there location and there better ranking in world. I didn't get rejection from nit Uttrakhand jamia is my choice. For admission first you have to qualify jee mains exam after that you have to fill online application form of jamia millia islamia then 7 or 8 days later a list is published by the university if your rank is good enough for jamia you will get admission there....Read More

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
