The admission process was fairly simple. Students had to appear for the CAT exam. Application forms were available by the month end of November on the official website of both MDI Gurgaon and MDI Murshidabad sites. Last year cut off went as low as 80 percentile due to Covid and increase in a number of seats. The course curriculum is very dynamic in nature. It keeps on changing as per the demands of the environment. There is a dual specialisation that a student can opt for. During covid time, exams and classes were conducted in online mode. Classes on zoom and exams on cocube. The process was fluid and carried on smoothly by the office.

Internships are great this time. Companies like Manyawar, droom, icici foundation, jio creative labs, middle earth, sapio analytics have already been to campus. The package offered is different for each. Some offered fixed stipends while some were performance based. It's a great opportunity for marketing and finance enthusiasts.

The placements are going pretty good this time. With companies like ICICI, Droom, EY have already been to campus with an average package of 11 lakhs currently. Similarly, internships for batch'23 is ongoing with Manyawar, Jio Creative labs already taken students from campus ground.

The total costing for 2 year PGDM course was around 12.5 lakhs. However, due to covid, first two trisem hostel and lodging fees were refunded. There is no problem in getting financial help from financial institutions like SBI and Canara bank because they are linked with the institute. Also, the coege provides scholarship opportunities for North east students on some basic criteria.

Last year campus was closed due to covid lockdown all around the world. The institute has opened up in Nov. The location is a slightly remote but provides a very scenic beauty, very close to nature. It has different buildings for girls, boys, faculty and for executives. The cafe called Angeethi is the main delight which attracts students for a fun time with coffee and otber snacks. All in one, the campus is the best place with greenery all around.

Hostel and lodging fees cost around 35000 per semester. There are separate buildings for girls boys and faculty. Junior and seniors live in the same building but on different levels divided by a corridor. Each floor has a separate washroom with laundry service easily available. There are sports features like football ground, tennis ground and etc.

During my time, the topic of my GD was 'Is Cryptocurrency the new future'. We were given a rime of 10 mins in which every candidate had to speak individually.
