Nice college

The admission process was very flexible and fluid. It started with the filling of the CAT form in the month of November or December. After shortlisting, I was called for a GDPI session which was conducted by the faculties of the same college. The cut off is around 80 percentile in CAT. The final shortlist are released in a turn of 3 and last year it went as down as 75 percentile call dies to covid and increase in no of seats.

The college provides dual specialisation like Marketing and Finance or Finance and Operations and many more. The faculties are usually doctorate and half of them are a part of MDI Gurgaon which gives us a good edge. The faculties are approachable and deliver very well.

Summer internship placements are going on. With companies like ICICI, Droom, Mother earth, sapio analytics, grow junction, icici foundation being here. The average went around 30k per month. Still few students are yet to be placed though.

Placements are good ranging around 10lpa average for last year. This time with the economy opening up, good companies with good profiles are coming up like ICICI, EY and Droom just been there for the season. Placements are still ongoing and is in full fledged mode.

The PGDM course costs around 12.5 lakhs for 2 years with a hostel feel of 35000 per semester. However, due to covid there was a relaxation of 70k of two trisems because the classes were held online. One need not take tension about financial assistance because SBI and CANARA bank have a tie up with the college and SBI Omparpur branch is very nearby to college easily sanctions the loan process. The college also provides scholarship to north east students.

The campus is very beautiful located far away from the noise of the city amidst greenery all around. There are air conditioned classrooms and a cafe named angeethi that's open throughout the day. The ambience is safe and lovely. There are many clubs that keeps something always going around making campus life fun and happy.

Hostel fees is around 35000 for one trisem. There are different buiildings for boys, girls, faculties and executives. One bathroom on each floor with proper laundry service. There are tennis courts, football ground and various other indoor game activities carried on. The mess serves healthy food and that is too timely. One can even ask the mess committee to make you other items but charges are applied accordingly.

Yes J was called for the GDPI session. My GD topic was on 'Farmers Bill 2021'. The panel consisted of 8 students and the time was around 15 mins. We were judged accordingly. Later on, we were allotted slots for our respective slots. In my panel, I had three interviewers from the same college who later I came to know are my faculties member only. The process was very well carried and I was placed in the first shortlisting.
