Nice college

The admission process was very fluid I appeared for cat and then I was eligible to fill the application form which was available on MD Gurgaon and MDI Murshidabad's official website it the application form cost around rupees 1200. After reviewing the application form the selected students' work called to sit for GDPI. There is a cut-off of around 78 percentile however last year it went down to as low as 75 due to covid-19 and an increase in the number of seats in the college.

MDI Murshidabad offers dual specialization. One can take to specialization as its majors like finance and marketing or operations and marketing. The teachers here are usually doctorate and a few of them are a part of sister college that is a Gurgaon full stop or some of the faculty members come on as a guest faculty. The teachers here a very approachable and solve your doubts very efficiently even in an online teaching mode.

The average internship stipend offered to the batch of 2023 e is around 30000 per month. Companies like ICICI foundation, droom, manyawar, sapio have already come to the campus and many are more to come. The roles offered are also very nice like digital marketing product management equity research analyst and many others.

The placements of the college are going pretty well. Last year the average went around 10.5 LPA full stop this time many good companies like Ernst and young, ICICI middle Earth jio creative labs cognizant have been to campus offering good roles till now the average is around 11 LPA. Few students are yet to be placed although the place comes and the third-party officer is trying their level best to bring on more companies into the campus.

The fee cost around 12.5 lacs. However due to covid and locked and imposed all around the world the lodging and boarding fees were refunded for the first to tri semesters. There is financial assistance easily available from two of the major banks like SBI and Canara Bank. Also, SBI omarpur branch is located very near to the campus, and getting your loan sanction from there is very easy. College also provides full scholarship opportunities for two students hailing from North East India.

The campus life is very good. The college is located very far away from the city e amidst greenery all around. There are a number of clubs to name you like Syndekon, the PR and web committee, annexus, Akriti sports com and many others which takes care of all the activities going in the college. Even in the online mode all the clubs to care of conducting events like seminars webinars and online simulation games to keep the students happy and engaged after thorough and rigorous online class sessions.

The hostel and mess committee is very flexible. The meal provided is very healthy and timely. There is a cafe called Angeethi which serves coffees and snacks and is open all around the day. The committee provides both veg and non-vegetarian foods. Even when asked to prepare extra food or snacks as per your choice they prepare it for you do extra charges are applicable for the same.

After shortlisting of application forms through CAT percentile I was asked to appear for the GDPI session. My GD round consisted of 10 students and it was a duration of around 15 minutes. The topic of the GD was cryptocurrency is the new future. After this, I had to appear for a personal interview round. In my case, there were three panelists which I later found to be my faculties member from the college itself. Questions asked were like tell me about yourself why do you want to join management after coming from a science background and my future perspective.
