The admission process took a long time due to COVID 19 outbreak. It almost took 5 to 6 months to complete the whole admission process. The admission form was available on the university site ipu.ac.in and the registration fee was Rs1200. Admission of all BTech courses was done according to the JEE Mains rank. there were 4 cutoff rounds and 2 spot round. After getting selected in these rounds a token had to be paid for my case it was Rs 40000. Then an allotment letter is received via email. After this process to confirm the admission we had to go to the allotted college physically itself and fill out the rest of the forms provided by the college and pay the remaining fees for a whole year.

The course started with initially 7 subjects (Applied Mathematics-1, Applied Physics-1, Applied Chemistry, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Process, Fundamentals of Computer, Engineering Graphic Designing) in the first sem of BTech which was common for all the branches of BTech. The syllabus is very old it hasn't been changed in a long time. Faculty members are very good with students they guide students in all possible ways. Most of the teachers are PhD holders. There were 2 sessional exams or minor exams with the gap of 1.5 months each containing 2 units, and internal practicals were conducted by our own subject teachers and there were external practicals also which was conducted by an external teacher from different colleges. And major exam consist of the whole syllabus taught during the whole semester. It was not that easy nor hard to pass the exam, it all matter how much you prepare for them.

The internship opportunities are not offered directly to the students. But we can grab these opportunities by joining the societies, or by getting a good connections. There are many roles offered for internsps such as full stack developer, backend developer, frontend devloper, android developer etc. of stipend of around 10k to 20k in companies like infosys and TCS provide them.

Students of BTech get eligible for placement from 3rd year 5th semester. Last Year many companies visted this college such as infosys, TCS, IBM, HCL, oppo, samsung, wipro, myntra, amazon etc. There were more than 700 offers made for the students. The highest package offered last year was of 32 LPA by amazon to cse students. And the average package offered is around 5 to 7 LPA. Around 80% of students get placed in a good company every year.

The whole course of BTech is offered at fees of around Rs. 4.5 lacs, which is paid per anum of around Rs. 110000. There were fee hikes during my session earlier fees was around Rs. 95000 but now it's Rs. 110000 it may be because of the COVID 19 outbreak. There were many scholarships and financial assistance like for EWS, Merit cum means provided by the university and by the government. Faculty members guided the students to avail this scholarship.

Campus life is awesome. The infrastructure of this college is one of the best among the colleges of IP university. If you want to hang out near the college then there won't be a good place available but the nearest metro station available is Kashmiri gate so that you can travel find a suitable place and chill. There are many books available by different authors, so you can find books easily. We can also get books through the book for the whole year at Rs 1200. This college has many different types of societies such as dance, music, art, robotics, etc. societies. Students also took part in many social groups. There were almost no fests conducted in offline mode past year due to lockdown but there were many coding fests conducted and many other competitions by different societies conducted.
