Remarks
The admission process is simply based on your 12th class board marks your overall percentage should be more than 60. Or you can get admission based on your uptu rank or jee mains rank. Then you have to give a short 30 marks test on an online computer which is MCQ based. You can fill the application form online or offline by visiting the AKGEC campus. There is no such thing as reservation benefits as it requires only your 12th mark sheet. I want to see that the test should be made of 100 marks MCQ and those students who score more than 70-80 marks should get some relief from academic fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electrical and electronics which is also known as EN branch in our college. It is best if you are looking to get a job in core companies or looking to get into government sector jobs. The facilities are ranging from best to good teachers and most of the teachers are hardworking who cares for the students genuinely. Faculty includes professors and iitians also. Facilities have good knowledge of their respective subjects. The sessional tests(STs) are held after 1 month it includes 2 STs 1 PUT and then the UT. STs are comparatively easy PUT is a bit tough. But you can pass them easily if you studied the subject properly.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities like LABVIEW, BOSCH, ROBOTICS which gives certificate which is very beneficial for the students. They can even get job placement from the internship itself. In the third year mostly complete the internship and do the works of internship and get good industry exposure.
Placement Experience
From the 7th sem students can apply for campus placements. There are many companies which come for the recruitment like Infosys, Wipro, torrent, and many-core companies. The average package is around 4.5 lakhs maximum package claimed by the student was 48 lakhs. Many students this year got placed in tech giants companies Amazon offered 25 lakhs to 8 students this year. After getting this degree I will give gate and IES exams and look to get into the government sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees include 148000 rs for the first year then onwards it gets reduced to 110000 rs for the remaining years of Btech. You can get a scholarship if you satisfy the required criteria for it and submit the scholarship form.
Campus Life
There are only two fests which are freshers and farewell. Other than this there are some more events and sports events. Books are available in the library. There is study area library is very good. Classrooms are situated in a greenery environment they are well lit. Zonals sports event athletics and 100s of singing, photography and dancing societies you can join which are run by your seniors.
Interview Experience
Firstly you will have to meet the HODs of the various departments. They will help you choose the branch of your choice. They will ask you some questions regarding your interest. You will be then given a paper that you have to solve online based on 30 marks MCQ which will be easy. It's generally easy just to study for the basics of your branch.
