Remarks

Students are taken admission to our college if they have passed their Hs exam from the commerce stream. The application form is available on the college website and fees can be paid online. There is no reservations system in our college. I don't see any improvement, therefore.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future so I chose this course as this is my favorite subject. Teachers in our college are very helpful. They are professional and well qualified. The term exams are held every 6 months which is easy to pass.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5600 per year

Placement Experience

Students in their final year are eligible for a campus where big companies like Tcs Pnb Bank of Baroda visit our college for the campus. The average package is around 5 lac with the highest of 13 lacs per annum. Around 60% of students get placement. I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees charged are moderate but then also is reduced for students filing low-income status. Scholarship and Financial Assistance is provided by our college every year to the meritious students and students who excel in sports.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held in the month of December every year in the college ground. The college library is very large with books on different topics. Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities like smart classes. The college has its own website.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
