Candidates have to give an entrance test SUAT for taking admission to Sharda University. It is mandatory to appear for national students. I had interned with Stmicro electronics in Noida. I got this opportunity as our team had participated in a tech fest. So, there are several chances for each individual to score internships while continuing their regular classes as the university has tie-ups with certain industries.

University has a good repo among the tech giants like Microsoft, stmicro electronics, LG to name a few of them. Dedicated teachers are there to help you in placement preparations like Aptitude tests, mock interviews, personal training for confident and decent personality. So, till the time you reach the placement drives, you have enough experience on how to deal with stress during exams, the type of questions that may appear in the interviews, etc. If I talk about my batch, out of 40 students around 30 to 32 students got placed in decent corporate firms as well as budding startups. You can start attending placement drives from the pre-final year.

Fees for all courses are around 2 lakh max per year but the kind of environment you get here and opportunities to interact with multi national candidates is truly amazing. Also, many scholarships are offered by the university for meticulous students, so it's all worth it at the end of the day. Admission process is simple. First you take entrance exam where topics till 12th class are asked in forms of mcq only, so even if you are average in your studies, just 2 hours preparation daily before 1 month of exam is fine to clear it with flying colors. Fir personal interview, just prepare our self introduction in such a manner that you sound confident enough as well as a serious candidate in front of interviewer. So, nothing out of the box coaching is needed for these exams.
