To get Admission into Any Engineering college in Telangana You have to take EAMCET(Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Test) where good rank gets you admission into good colleges.I got 30000 rank and got admission into St.Marys Engineering College.You can apply for the test on official website of TS EAMCET.People who are in reservation quota can avial benefits on seats.Most colleges Take Admissions in conveynor quota to get more fees I think that needs to be Improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have always had interest in Designing and architecture from an early age so I took civil engineering in B.tech.St.marys have excellent faculty members with good qualification and experience.Every subject has two lecturers one lecturer and one Assistant lecturer who use good classroom and practical methods to teach.The were two mid term exams every semester which are not too hard but also makes student know what he/she has learned till date.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like L&T Dec Infra Google Microsoft Hcl Amazon and cognizent etc have visited our college .roles were offered in many positions like sr engineer consultant engineer Interior designer sr Architect etc.
Placement Experience
After 5th semester students are eligible for placements lot of placement drives happen in the college.companies like google microsoft amazon Hcl and many more has visted my college.the higgest package was somewhere around 24 lakhs per annum.mostly 40 -50% students get placements.after completing my degree i will be working for internship at my fathers friend for experience then iam planning of going to us/uk.
Fees and Financial Aid
I being from minority community got scholarship from state government but others can also avail scholarships from different schemes according to the eligibilty.The fees for my course per year was 35000 less library,lab,hostel etc which differ for everyone.The college also provides financial assitance which needs to be disscussed with director.In the final year there will be placements from different companies which is a very good opportunity.
Campus Life
St marys has a vast 120 acre campus which has football cricket badminton volleyball and basket ball playgrounds three auditorium halls,Prayer hall.there are restaurants and cafeteria in the campus.St marys has an annual fest which popular celebrites and singers attend.there are two libraries and the labs are fully equipped.student groups participate in extracurricular activities.
