Remarks
I have applied for another college namely SV university engineering college, but in accordance with my eamcet rank, I had only option to opt this college. I've been placed here in the SC quota. For admissions one have to qualify in eamcet with a max rank of 20000, if there is any reservation quota this may vary up to 1 lakh, based on the type of reservation. However, the admission process was quite easygoing, after the certificate verification at counselling you have to opt for this college, if you were allotted oneust report in the college within a period of time time, and submit the originals in time of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I'm familiar with some electronic components, I'm in a dilemma of knowing more about it so I've chosen this coursework. Faculty student ratio is about 1:60. Every faculty are well qualified, teaching methods are still to be improved. Exams were conducted in semesters and it is quite difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Until now a low number of companies were been in our college. Placement chances are also low., by days it could be increased. After completion of one 4th sem, the student is eligible for placements cell. 1-10% of students are getting placements. My plans after the degree are to prepare for UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are somehow low which cross nearly 60000 per annum, which includes 12000+4000 of tuition and special fee, and an average of 40000-45000 of hostel fees per annum. Wherever some government scholarships are helpful which are provided by the state government.
Campus Life
I'm not sure about fests and other events since our batch curriculum was spent the most time in lockdowns online, but according to the previous record, more events and extra activities has been held it seems. Many social media websites were run by the students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms were well equipped with an internet facility, metal cots will be provided. The meal quality will be average and an ordered menu will be followed. Registration for the hostel can be easily done in the hostel office by just paying the registration fees.
