College with excellent chemistry department

College working under the University of Calicut. Common admission procedures for all colleges under Calicut university. I want to study chemistry and I have a good score in plus two. The chemistry department of Nss college is best among others. All faculties having doctorate degree in chemistry were very knowledgeable and provide a good standard of teaching. Exams are in semester ways. It's easy for students who are prepared.

There are no placement opportunities. One or two companies approaches. Most students opt for higher studies and qualify for entrance exams for various universities like BHU, CUSAT, MG, KERALA, and central universities. Most of the students qualified for entrance exams. I had decided to choose Llb after my graduation.

Nss College Manjeri is aided college. So most students are qualified for egrants scholarship they need not pay any fee. At the time of admission, we have to pay 8000 rupees then no fee until the course end. Other scholarships are also available like MCM, ch scholarship for Muslim girls etc, the college provides pm thirimulpad scholarship for topper in every department.

There was an annual sports fest and arts fest. A lot of other events happened in our times like science events. We have a library with a good collection of books we have a department library having subject books along with scientific journals ( monthly, weakly ). There is a lot of clubs science club, maths club, National service scheme, National cadet corps, and boomitrasena etc. Our classrooms are good and well furnished and technically forwarded.

There was no interview or Entrance. It was a selection based on index marks which depend on students scored in plus two and the subject opt. Allotments were published by Calicut University and selected students according to their index mark.
