Remarks
Eligibility :Jee mains and more than 75% in 12 th class. You can find application form on jac chandigarh's website.Application fees is 2000 rupees and Dates depends on your exam every year. There will be 4 rounds including 1 spot round. I want that spot round should be increased.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course due to my interest in coding .The faculties here are really well experienced. some of the faculties are gate qualified too.You have to give two minors and one major. And rest of the marking is based on internals.(class performance and attendance).Term exams happen at the end of each semester and 1 sem if of 4-5 months..Exams are not too difficult to pass if you have studied what has been taught to you in class.
Internships Opportunities
Not too many internships are offered to the students but still you can do my other part-time job as a free lancer or by your connections in the college campus made during 4 years. Companies are also not too good those who offers small internships here.
Placement Experience
Placements of the college is average. For CS-IT students, the average package is ID is 6-7 lakh. But too many companies approach this college. The highest package this year was 40 lakh ( off-campus). And 12 out of 8 students in CS -IT gets placed.I am planning to pursue Mtech after my BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay approx.99324 rupees per year plus 2000 exam fees per semester for exams.I don't know about scolorship because i didn't got any.Fees decreaes every year like second year's fees will be less than first and so on.
Campus Life
This is one the best thing.Life at the campus is really nice.No ragging.Seniors are nice. Also it is affiliated under PU which is the sports HUB of chandigarh. There are also many clubs like Mitra or MagB in the college to join. Also goonj the college fest is awesome. Also there is one big and good library in the PU campus with hell lot of books and journals.
Other Applied Colleges
Chitkara university | CSE
Being a private college it was too costly for me.
