Decent college for IT and Cse pursuers , Other fields would require you get the skills former field student doesnt have

admission process was smooth enough and was conducted through JAC chandigarh . JAC is the admission protocal for public colleges in pu campus and affiliated colleges . the seat is alloted according to your rank adter 3-4 rounds i got the links to join the whatsapp grps after the alloment and then classes was taken accordingly

i wanted cse but my rank was not sufficient so took this couse , suprisingly i have been told that their isnt any difference in cse and it in uiet . the placement of it was even higher than that of cse this year . we have 1 teacher for every subject , sometimes 2 as well . the faculty members are knowledgable and know how to teach to their student even in online mode with some ezceptions in each case terms exams were conducted timely and was good enough to pass after minimal efforts with exceptions as well

there are various company that comes to our campus for internship every year as mentioned under the event name intern fair like sapio analytics , labeller etc most of them were looking for appropriate technical skills under the role of web developer , data scientist etc

i think placement begins from the 6th sem . the placements for technical courses like cse and it are good enough . nearly everyone is placed but ofcourse everyone doesnt get the near same package the average placements were above 6 lpa nearly 90% students were placed for it and cse whereas the percentage harshly declines for other fields i would like to get a job after my college with at least 6 lpa as salary otherwise will pursue further education

i feel this is one of the few college where the money to value ratio was acceptable had the tenure been offline there is a scholarship scheme as well for people with family earning below a certain level , it did had an event where companies were called for internship and people were hired as well

the annual fest called jung is conducted however the fest conducted on the main campus of pu are more enjoyable than this collage we were provided a library link where the books were presents to avail by the student however i havent used it since my tenure is online , i cant tell you much about the campus however campus of pu is really good pu is famous for sports so there are academies that are conducting sports practicies after 5 pm there are various clubs in uiet like edc , bpc , p club etc
