To get admission in GECRajkot or any government engineering college in Gujarat affiliated to GTU students have to appear in the Gujcet exam after completing 12 and then go for ACPC counseling and fill their choice and get admission according to their rank and cutoff. Cutoff for obc, scst, etc students are low compared to general students. The entire admission process is best.

I wanted to study Engineering with electronic and communications and I found GEC Rajkot near my native place and it is the best college for Electronic and communications engineering in entire saurastra. For every subject, there are 4 faculty on 120 students. Faculty share their great knowledge as all faculties are well qualified and class1 government officials. Our college conducts mid sem exam in mid of every sem and another exam is conducted at end of sem by GTU.

Gujrat Technical University offers summer internships to 5th sem students and also full-time internships to 8th sem students. 8th sem students have the option to go with a project instead of an internship and get funded by the government for innovative ideas.

College provides us great placement facilities for students who focus on studying, Companies like TCS, gtpl, visit our campus to recruit students of the 8th semister. An average of 3lakhs per annum package is given to all eligible students. Most of the students including me are planning to grab the placement.

We have to pay just 1500 fees every year which is negligible. The government also provides two major scholarships mysy and digital Gujarat. Girls don't have to even pay single rupees as fees. Other than this we have to pay 800-1000 as exam fees at university twice a year.

The college organizes many fests but brezinger is major fest in every year where engineering students from different universities participate. Their are lot of book in library not even possible to read in entire college life , magazines, generals,etc are available for free for us. The college has worst sports facilities there is only one not maintained ground. The college has NCC, NSS, etc government organizations on the campus. There are also clubs run by students such as code chef, coders for electronics, etc.
