Eligibility of the course is to qualify to jee mains or through dasa. The application form for jossa councelling is available on jossa.nic Reservation for st,sc,obc,ews The admission process took 1 month, so it can be a bit faster.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer science because I love coding and computer-related stuff. The faculty of SVNIT are helpful. Due to covid 19, we have online classes, so faculty take lectures through Google Meet or Ms. Teams.
Internships Opportunities
There are internships available through the college. You can apply for it in the 5th semester and you have to do all the work after your 6th semester ends. You can also apply for an off-campus internship. 2-3 projects with good dsa skills are required.
Placement Experience
For internships, students can apply this from the 3rd semester, and for pre placements offer they can apply after the 6th semester. Almost 95% of students are placed in computer science. The highest package offered is 42 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for the Btech course is approximately 5,40,000 INR. There are many government scholarships available which students can apply for. For students whose family income is between 1-5 lakh have to pay only 1/3rd of the fees, and those with income less than 1 lakh have to pay nothing.
Campus Life
Campus life is good and decent enough. An annual fest like mindbend, Sparsh are organized by SVNIT students which is Gujarat's biggest fest. All books are available in the library. Sports facilities are available. Social groups like NSS, chrd are also working.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel room facilities available are internet, balcony, etc. Mess meal quality is good. You have to apply for a hostel through svnit site. In the first and second years they provide double occupancy rooms, and after that, you can apply for single. occupancy
