I got admission through TS-EAMCET (Telangana State- Engineering, agriculture and medical common entrance test), The college accepts admission either through Eamcet or management quota (No JEE marks or rank is taken into consideration).
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer science engineering as I was interested in it. The faculty and student ratio is about 1:3, The faculty has an experience of over 10-15years in their respective fields, We have 8sems, 2 sems in each year.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of companies that offer an internship to students after the 2nd-year 2nd semester, My seniors got good roles and stipend from several companies, and also some of the students got patents for their innovations as well.
Placement Experience
Students will be eligible for placements from 3rd year, There are many MNCs that visit GCTC during placements, a few of them are Tech Mahindra, TCS, Accenture, etc, Last year there were around 980 placements, out of which 500 were from 5 MNCs itself, Around 95% ppl get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee in this college is 1,02,000. which is around 5 lakhs for 4years including all other fees, I got a scholarship through TS EAMCET of 35,000 which made it 67,000 yearly for me, and around it would be 3-3.5 Lakhs for 4years.
Campus Life
GCET conducts many fests every year, there are several clubs and everyone is allowed to participate in the clubs and fests, The campus is spacious, has 4 blocks and a beautiful garden, the overall campus is greenery. All types of books are available in the library, Sports equipments are also available.
