College Review

I took the entrance exam of Veltech University and it's not needed anyway for admission. depending upon your 12th mark you will get admission and a scholarship. The maximum scholarship is of 75%. There is an official website of Veltech where you can find application details. There are no reservation benefits.

I took computer science because Veltech is good at cse placements and other reason is demand of cse in the market. There very good number of facilities and the ratio is 1:20 students.faculties are qualified and have very good know about what they are teaching ,but there are some who doesn't.as there are two semester a year ,every semester has 2 units ,2midterm ,model labs ,final labs and semester exam . As usually 2 assignments for every course. Passing in any exam is not much difficult ,but I also depends on students will for learning subject.

There are my internship opportunities in Veltech by Google, Microsoft, and Adobe, They also provide international internships for students. Which is good for student carrier. Veltech allows you to participate in different competitions which helps you to do project works.

For 3yr and 4yr students placements are provided . Veltech is good at providing placements to students. Companies which has visited are TCL,Wipro ,HCl, Gemini, Google , Microsoft etc.high package is 18lac and the average is 4to5 lac. 75% of students get palced and rest go for mtech or didn't get placed. And I'm one of them who is planning to go abroad for mtech.

Regarding fees, my college is 62000/yr and hostel is 82000/yr and it is same for all four years of my study. Actual college is 2.4la nearly but I got scholarship of 75% so it's 62k . You can apply for study loan in patner bank of Veltech which is bank of baroda.the college fees increases every year ex: students of batch 2020 will have more fees than mine.

Events are conducted Every month,Annual fest is conducted in every 2yrs in March. Veltech is just awesome. Every department has its seperate library , students can use by there ID cards no fees is required . Every class has a white and black board , projector,wifi router. Some classes have benches,chairs and round tables . College has a play group ,a basketball ground. Sports goes on daily. There is NSS which performs extracurricular ,social activities.there is dance club and NCC. every group has its own social media account. These groups are run by students.

Veltech has five hostels one for girls and other for boys. There are different types of room standard single one ,2in1,3in 1,4in 1,6in1 ,single ac, 2in1 ac ,3in 1ac,4in1ac.every room is provided with wifi and every floor has hot bath water and clean drinking water , daily cleaning . Meal in hostel is good and is best in Chennai. Every day in dinner chicken meat is provided .
