Admission was done on the basis jee mains score and overall admission process was very smooth and college faculties were very helpful to clear any doubt during admission, it hardly took a few hours to complete the process, and the application was done through mponline website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am personally very much interested in the IT branch and my specialisation is in artificial intelligence and machine learning which was a great source of fascination and interest to me. Teachers at MITS are very helpful, qualified, generous, they are always ready to help us out and guide regarding studies and actively take feedbacks from students. There is about 1 teacher per 35 students. Term exams were quite precise and conceptual and were easy to pass if a students attends class regularly.
Internships Opportunities
Accenture provided internships to a few students with a stipend of 15k per month under the position of assistant web developer and cloud manager. Internships are only provided to the third year students. The first internship is on campus and the second is in a company.
Placement Experience
Students of the fourth year are eligible to sit in placements. Godrej, Mahindra, tata projects, byjus , Accenture, TCS, Capgemini and many more others. companies visited at the campus. The highest package was 14,35,000 rupees in 2020 and the average was 5.5 lac. About 450 students were placed in 2020. I am planning to do a job after getting a degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There has been no fee hike currently and the fees of college is quite affordable as it is government funded. There are a lot of scholarship programs MMVY, and minority scholarship and fee concessions for students from ews, sc, st .many companies visit campus for placements avg. offer is of 5.5 lac per annum and highest is about 12.5lac.
Campus Life
Names of fests are querencia and mitsvah which are organized every year. Meet bros performed at our last cultural fest. the library is quite big but it lacks books related to some new technologies. The sports club is very much active there are many sports at MIS cricket field, badminton courts, volleyball court, basketball court etc. Some classrooms have stairlike seating arrangements while others are normal, college students run photography, coding, art, dance, music clubs.
