HBTU - The hundred years of experience

For Admission for BTech in Harcourt butler technical university just you have to give JEE mains exam held by NTA first then after that you have to apply for HBTU counseling that is totally different from JOSSA and after submitting the application form of counseling, in counseling, there are total 4 rounds, counseling starts and according to the rank obtained in JEE mains branch will be provided to you and u have 3 options after that freeze, float, withdraw from the counseling. So you have to select anyone. There is no need for improvement in the admission process.

I chose this course because I like coding problems and in Computer Science and engineering branch you have more chances to enhance your coding skills and it is a top branch of College too. There is good faculty: student ratio, for every 17 students there is one faculty so this ratio is not bad as we are in college now. Most of the faculties are PhD in their respective subjects. Professor can teach both in English and Hindi in which you are suitable as per subject. They will provide notes for the same. Term exams are not much tough but you have to definitely study for them, you can't ignore them. There is one mid-term exam and one end sem exam.

Just when students reached the 5th semester, then student have the opportunity to apply for internship. The companies that come for internships are Airtel, ExxonMobil, Paytm, Flipkart, TCS, etc. The roles are easy just as a CSE student you have some incorrect coding problems then you have to correct them. As a Computer Science and engineering student, you must learn coding, Data structures, and algorithms, Web development or Android development, or machine learning. You must have something that you can help them to raise their company. You must have projects of programs of any game made by you so that they can know your coding skills. There are many companies that only see your CodeChef or code forces rating for coding skills. So for practice, you can do it there.

For some branches, there are good placements such as Computer Science and engineering, IT, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, paint technology, leather technology. In other branches, there are good placements when they applied off-campus. From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. There are lots of companies Adani Wilmar, Aditya Birla Chemicals, Adobe Ltd., Adventz, Airtel Payments Bank, Akzonobel, Amazon, Archer Daniels Midland, Asian Paints, Atos Origin, Bajaj Auto, HCL Technologies, Hero Motocorp, Hindalco, Hindustan Unilever, Honda, HSBC, Hyundai, iB Hubs, IBM, Indigo Paints. The highest package offered is 43 lacs per annum and the average package is 9 lacs per annum for the CSE branch. 80 % of students get placed in on-campus placement. My plan after getting a degree is to take placement first then might be of MBA.

In the first year of your college, your fees will be submitted at the time of counseling. In the first year, our fee is Rs 1,35,000 and submitted it once. In the second year you have the choice to submit partially or fully. There is a scholarship of Rs 75000 provided to three Fee waiver seats which are given to the top 3 students of each branch.

The annual fest name is adhyay and it is organized in mid-December. There are lots of books in the library but not a good variety but in the library, you can come and get wifi and peace for studying. There is a good collection of magazines there. There is a lab for each practical subject so that you can understand the subject better. As a college student, you can enjoy yourself a lot in different matters. If you are good at any game then you can enjoy it there and there are many games here such as Cricket, football, volleyball, indoor badminton court for badminton, basketball, table tennis, etc. There are lots of clubs run by senior students such as robotics, aeroclub, Kala kaksh, e-cell, and many more for the betterment of students in every part of their life. You can learn a lot from seniors in College life.
