I joined NIE through KCET and the admission process was on online mode and it was easy and effective. After writing KCET, we should fill the application form provided in kea.kar.nic.in the website, after completing seat allocation they will tell us to make payment using net banking, or neft after making payment they will send admission order to the college. If your rank is around 5k you can get to this college through some reservations. Details regarding the application form, fees, dates, are provided in kea.kar.nic.in website.

I chose this course because I got advice from relatives and seniors that ISE is the best department in NIE and around 120 students are in the ISE branch in 1st year and around 12-15 faculty members are there in the ISE department. Faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable and the teaching method is effective and more understandable. There are 3 internals and SEE. It will be easy if we study well and the pass percentage is 100 in our course.

Around 98% of students got internships in JP MORGAN, Wipro, Microsoft, etc, Roles offered for ISE students are Software developer, data analyst, web developer, etc. Here we get to do industry-level projects. This best college in Karnataka.

The highest package offered is 46.5LPA, the lowest package offered is 6LPA, the average package offered is 8LPA. Cisco, Google, Microsoft, Intuit, IBM, SAP Labs, etc, 100% of students have been placed in ISE courses. Around 98% of students got internships in JP MORGAN, Wipro, Microsoft, etc, Roles offered for ISE students are Software developer, data analyst, web developer, etc.

If you are going through kcet, the fee is around 90K, and they might increase as for freshers as per government. There are many scholarships available such as NSP, SSP, etc, We should have this scholarship in the first year itself and later on, we can renew it every year it course ends.

There are lots of useful books in our library, classrooms are very clean and maintained daily. We get good wifi connections for educational purposes. ISE department is one of the best departments in our college. Hostels are well maintained and provide good food in mess and hosts cricket, football matches in the hostel as well as in colleges. Many sports are entertained on our college campus.

It's the best hostel in Mysore, it had a dedicated website for a hostel, hostel food is very good, it has only veg food, every day we get a snack in evenings like puff, samosa. The hostel fee is 80000. It has good wifi services. Neary places to Stay is near the sterling theater.
