Remarks

We have to apply for the test in official website of amrita and I have taken the Amrita Entrance Examination and I have secured 221 AIR in that, no reservation benefits were provided and For me CSE Branch was applied and with 3.25 lacs hostel fees with 1.25 approx hostel fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are a little bit tough along with the vivas, the pattern of exams is confusing sometimes,have to study harder for few courses and about passing, 6 out of 10 will pass easily, but everyone will maintain decent gpa, so no worries.

When it comes to internships our college provides one of the best internships and and provides chances to the students , internships start from a second year we have groups to inform us about it in early.

Placement Experience

Placements are so damn good for our college. Companies like Amazon, Wipro ,Dell Samsung ,Tech Mahindra visit our college at the 3rd year 6th semester for every group and goes on upto 4th year and they hire for very quality packages. For CSE, ECE, EEE, AIE, CCE the offers are pretty good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure starts from Basic 1lac 25 thousands to the Highest 3lacs 25 thousands, hostel fees starts from 60 thousands and goes upto 1.25 lacs, it's quite costly though.Jobs will be coming from 3rd year 6th semester.. Campus provides scholarships for merits by participations in contest.

Campus Life

Life at campus is good, a very healthy environment surrounded in nature with fresh air available 24/7. Life ik campus is fun filled along with classmates, we visit library, it's big and contains nearly 6000 books at least. we have computer labs for coding practise. we cele5 annual day, functions every month and big fests and we have clubs for music, movies, sports etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is messy and it's somewhat older and bad looking... no Air Conditioning in classes as well as hostels and no proper bathroom facilities too it's hard to cope up but with friends around us, it's nothing, we eventually got used to it.. Mess and menu is average with only strict vegetarian food.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
