When I started my B.Tech in 2011, my college was listed in the counselling of AIEEE through which I got a scholarship and a admission for Mechanical Enginering, even though I was late (Late August) after all the rounds of AIEEE counselling were closed.

Curriculum for Mechanical engineering was almost in par with the syllabus of GATE exams, it was designed by our Hon, VC Dr. Vijay Gupta who was a senior professor in IIT before.

I did my intern ship in Industrial Robotics at KUKA college AKGEC, Gaziabad. We learnt about the architecture of robots and programming them to perform various jobs it changed my approach.

IT jobs were provided at large few core companies visited during our time, but after we passed out we received quite many of them.

Chorus, our technical fest the campus changes colorful from its usual brick architecture students from everywhere come in to enjoy the presence of celebrities invited to the fest. Coke studio was held at our college on 2013 was good to here nice music contrivance, our technical fest happens just after chorus at march i usually contributed to host a few events myself. Ojaswat our sports fest in which the highlight was the mini foodball match between African teams and teams from other colleges.

Hostels from low range 3 seater non ac to high range 2 seater ac rooms are available from 85k per annum to 1.25L per annum respectively. Mess food is common for both the above packages, but the later has quite good furniture to look like a higfi mess hall. Vegetarian only for Indian nationals additional non-veg fee of $2500 for international students 5/10 for 3 seater non ac rooms 7/10 for 2 seater ac 6/10 for the vegetarian food 7/10 for non vegetarian.

Campus life was quite satisfactory exposure and culture of the university is rich owing to the high international student ratios. (40%)Gender ratio in campus is almost 60~40 (Male and female respectively) To be frank most of the people at Sharda shined in extra curriculum than theory labs of mechanical are hi teh. We have CNC lathe, mill, Electric discharge machines, UTM etc we have a 4:1 student to machine ratio in labs we have a hi tech pneumatic automobile lab. Engines were serviced and repaired as a part of the curriculum, 6:1 student to engine ratio.Sports fest Ojaswat is usually grand and is held for about a week. Students from all around come here to show their talents. Our university football team is the heighlight we also have model UN every quarter where representatives attend the UN council (model) to discuss international issues and their solutions.automated robotics, aeromodelling, automobile, gesture control etc, were a few workshops I attended when I studied.

Alumini network is a little poor in our university.There is very less modes of connectivity for the juniors with passed out seniors.
