My journey through GRIET

Almost 60 percent of the admission are through eamcet but i think a special quota for talented students must be given in order to achieve overall neutrality in the classroom.i Suggest government should stop management admission to a greater extent..and the fees they're collecting like NBA FEES SPECIAL FEES.EVEN they're collecting placement training fees from management quota people.many of the students are not able to offer high bus fares/auto fare even for a very short distance. Almost 60 percent of students gets enrollment through the engineering entrance test Conducted by JNTU HYDERABAD. in second-year diploma students gets enrollment through ecet entrance exam . based on their performance or rank they will get enrollment. they can also enjoy Full fees reimbursement benefits from Telangana State government.depending on parent income level they will get partially or full reimbursement for a student who is eligible for Full fees reimbursement have to pay 5500 every year for NBA fees

Each semester is designed for 16 weeks In which mids are conducted for every 8 weeks .exams are moderate to difficult level. depending on our preparation our hard work we can expect our grading. to be frank moderate to easy level. it was my personal interest in the department of electronics and communication engineering. From the second year, almost all of the faculty are Ph.D. holder's.mainly the department of electronics and communication engineering has most no of Ph.D. holders currently in gokaraju Rangarajan college of engineering. Exams are pretty easy we need to follow our lecture notes and related reference books suggested by our beloved faculty. they are very good at English. And they're having immense of experience in their particular subject. For example, our EDC professor has done Ph.D. in one of the devices which is related to the department of electronics and communication engineering And our hod and dean's are having tonnes of experience.overall a student will have no problem related to faculty Dean

Actually, a student of GRIET has 2 projects like a minor project in 3rd year second semester and a Major in the final year of graduation. During our projects, we are exposed to a new domain where we are able to learn many new things. for every group, one teaching staff will be allocated. most of the companies recruit students as java developers or beginners. During internship, only student can understand their potential in holding the position they will be allocated.. Department of electronics and communication engineering student. Have to select a project relating to commutation like radar system or drone system. It will be very useful during their placement drive where the interviewer will be asking questions relating to our project and what is the outcome of the project we completed. During our project, we will be exposed to a variety of industry experts who guides us in accomplishing our project The research and development cell of GRIET will look after all the major and minor projects of students

Actually, i was not interested in doing BTech.I am eagerly waiting for by graduation to be completed.i only wanted a BTech certificate.I am having my own plans after my graduation.i don't like being confessed in a room and doing IT JOBS. Companies like Amazon (sde) , cognizant CAPGEMINI, byjus, Microsoft, and tata consultancy services (TCS). Many other companies like Bosch it related companies regularly visits our college during campus placement drives and recruitment is done in a very large amount.like tcs almost recruit 240 students every year for different positions in their companies. In 2020 one of our alumni got placed in Microsoft with a whopping package of 41.6 lakhs package .2021 out seniors got placed with 33 lakhs package.4 students got placed for 24 lakhs package.

I was given full fees reimbursement by the State government and there is quite a lot scholarship given by different NGO and many other companies for students who are hailing from backward areas of our State. Till 2017/18 college fee of gokaraju rangaraju college of engineering was 95000 per year that is for 2 semesters. present it got hiked to 122000 because of increase of college expenses. for a student it almost costs 2-2.5 lakhs every year.it depends on student to the student if he can compromise for some things he might save 45/50k per annum.as students get exposed to Hyderabad metropolitan city for the very first time he will not be able to save a lot of money.so it depends on student mentality to understand parents' current situation and have to move on.a student can expect an internship right from 3-1/3-2. most of the students try to do internship with Many companies like Bosch, and even iit Hyderabad provides internship for students of gokaraju rangaraju college of engineering no worry

Gokaraju rangaraju college is not known for cultural fests. rarely our college conducts any fest or an event. Griet is having a good Central library comprising of several thousands of modules. Every year our college conducts 2 inter-college sports meets. But fortunately in griet we are having several clubs which are really of worth joining. But different students from different student bodies conduct technical event's to enhance student interest towards subject.mostly technical events are common in gokaraju rangaraju college of engineering and technology.pragna the biggest student body conducted a technical and nontechnical event which received a tremendous response from students of all departments. Every semester there will be value-added courses like embedded systems and many others which are very useful for all departments of electronics and communication engineering and. they will be exposed to a variety of industry experts and others professionals from almost all disciplines.
