Everything about RKMS

A diploma in any trade can be done if you pass the 10th board onwards. Higher Secondary or 12th board passed is more preferable because during diploma you can easily relate to 12th board syllabus. You can take entry into any college after securing a good Rank in JEXPO Exam. There is SAT(Shilpamandira Admission Test), especially for RKMS college. You can take the JEXPO form from any Govt. Or Private college. (Rs. 500/- in 2018) Reservation is available in Most Govt. Colleges, not in Private colleges. The admission process is good.

The Course Curriculum is good and Faculty members are also great. Firstly, I was determined to do Engineering and I also have an interest in Electronic gadgets, that's why I had chosen Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETCE). Our College RKMS have more than one teacher in a specific subject. Like we have 3 teachers in Microprocessor subject. All the Teachers taught us very nicely, they have the great technical knowledge and some of them are Industry experienced. Exams were always conducted maintaining a proper schedule and we have to study properly. If you don't study properly you can fail to get pass marks.

We didn't see companies give stipend internships. But we got chance to do internship at BSNL and RKMSCC for increasing our technical skills as a short training. We have to pay some fees for that. Like in BSNL 2000 for 2 months probably. We have to do many college projects, it also carries marks in Semester.

From the 5th semester students become campus eligible. A lot of companies visits every year. Like Capgemini, Tata motors, Sapoorji & Paloonji, TPRS Glass, L&T, A1 Fence etc and placement are mostly in Chennai, Tamilnadu, Bangalore, Gujrat etc. Salary varies from 12K to 20K for a fresher. Some companies also make your work like non-engineer labour which is a big problem why some of the students left their job in a short term period. Almost 100% of students get placed and some students go for higher students (Lateral B.tech) After Getting the Degree I had two options, either Take a Job or Do B.tech. I'm pursuing BTech at Kalyani Government Engineering College in ECE now.

There are different fee structure for different admission process. Like 1) JEXPO = 12000/ SEMESTER, 2) JEXPO TFW = 5000/ SEM, 3) SAT = 24000/ SEM, In recent years, 2000 Rupees is increased in all process probably. You can get different Govt. Scholarship like SVMCM and College also gives a good amount of money as scholarship for getting good marks in Semester and maintaining good attendance in college (Rs. 20000+ for SAT).

Lots of seminars and webinars about "Personality Development, Job skills, Automation related etc" happened during our course. "Nabin Boron" is very Unique in our College. We had a library card and can access almost all the books in the syllabus. We have indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom. A yearly Competition of Volleyball took place there.
