It was good decision to study in this college

The minimum eligibility for this course is candidate should pass at least the 12th board with a minimum of 50% marks. Student pass from any subject can apply for this course. Application form I get from college only. I think the admission process is average and it can be better by improving a few things like reducing the number of cut off by college. The time period of admission period is quite long.

I choose this course from childhood only I was keen to work in the television industry. The average between faculty and student is 1:10. Most faculty members are P.hd holders in their own subject. In the BJMC course practical knowledge is most important and faculty do their best job. I really like the teaching method. The semester exam is difficult to pass.

During the internship, I join the company as a content writer. I get projects to write for many companies on different issues which helps me to understand the real world of industry. Most of company do not offer stipends but yes their experience certificate which helps in getting a job easily.

At end of the 5th semester or you can say from last semester students are eligible for campus placement. For BJMC course companies visited like Zee News, NDTV, India today, cricketbuzz etc. The highest salary package was around 5 lac per annum and the average package were around 3 lac per annum. From by batch 70% of students get campus placement. After getting a degree I am working with a reputed media company.

There are no fixed fees for all three years at the time of admission. It can be increased every year. During the second year and third year, I have seen around a 5% hike in fees by the college. College provides scholarships to EWS category students. You can get a part-time job with stipends from many companies.

Mostly the annual fest is conducted in March month. The annual fest is average because they do not invite any big celebrities. Yes, any college student can perform during the annual fest. There are many clubs in college like dance club, singing club, sports club, drama club, laughter etc. Any student can join any club by applying on the college website. Overall campus life is very good and I still miss my college campus life.

The hotel facility in college is average. The room was spacious and every room was allotted with two boys sharing basis. A meal in mess was good only on non veg day. I did not find good veg food here. For registration of hostel, students need to apply through college. The hostel is allotted on a first-come basis. Hostel fees are affordable as compared to PG available nearby.
