Remarks
Eligibility for BCom is Intermediate pass with English and have secured a minimum of 55%. The application form generally comes on the Shibli website in March or April and the application fee is 400 rupees. Shibli gives a lot of reservation to minorities students and also to SC/ST. The admission process is very slow and management is poor, that's a big problem as many students take admission in other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a commerce student and love business stuff so i have two options Bcom or BBA, As there is no scope in BBA so i choose BCom. The faculty is well maintained and very good students teacher ratio of 25:3. Teachers are trained and Highly educated their teaching method is different from each other, some give us the assignment and some only teach and make notes. No semester examination of terms examination. Only final exam Conduct here. Passing exams just come daily in the class.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees id 4500 rupees which is unchanged for years. so there is no fee hike policy. The cost of the study is good as course fees are very less and Azamgarh is also a cheap city. UP scholarship and NSP scholarship are available here. i applied UP scholarship in 1st year and received 6600 rupees from the government.
Campus Life
The annual fest is rare, college only celebrates independence day on 15th Aug. Sometimes college Conduct mushaira type of activities. Books are very easy to access in college. here is a library which provides all coursebooks on rent. Students play on college grounds and sometimes cricket championships are held. Many Social groups are active like SHIBLI OLD BOYS, Shiblian, and some political groups that participate in college elections.
