Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because I want to be a Mathematics teacher in high school. I love mathematics subjects too. We had around 6 professors and around 55 students in our department. So the student-faculty ratio was 9 professors per one faculty. Our professors were really helpful. They gave us enormous support to study this subject better. They have taken regular online classes during a pandemic and in their offline class, they teach Mathematics very easily. They have organized multiple seminars on Mathematics. Where many students can join and give a lecture on various Mathematics topics. Their teaching method was interactive. We had 6 main exams for 6 semesters & 2 internal exams before every main exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is under control for everyone. It is a government college the fee doesn't increase very often. The first sem admission fee was Rs 2600. For 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th & 6th sem the college fees are 800, 1200, 900,1600, 850 respectively. College does not provide any financial help but many scholarships are available for all the students. SVMC, Kanyashree, OASIS are given by the government. Moreover, you can apply for many private scholarships like HDFC, TATA, JINDAL & many more. No campusing facility is available here.
Campus Life
First one & a half years of my college I have seen many cultural programs are organized by our college. In every winter a big cultural fest was organized for two days in a row. Many students from all the departments have joined this. The program was celebrated creativity & enthusiasm. Nabin Baran( Fresher's welcome) is one of the best programs in our college. Our classroom was clean and medium in size. When it comes to the library we have all kinds of books available in our library. It is a peaceful room. We have a student union that organise all these programs.
