In Dayalbagh, the admission process is fair since there are three lists sometimes four provided by the college which 1st list is for students who get percentage of more than 90%. In 2nd, 3rd is for students get percentage more than 85% and 80% respectively. The admission process is followed by an interview only those who have their name on the list is allowed to appear in the interview only. This is all about admission to Btech.

I choose this course as I am always keen to know more about structure specifically architecture or civil so among these I choose civil engineering. The engineering faculty in the college is the largest faculty with around 40 teachers including professors and Asst. Professors. All the teachers are very kind and always ready to help their students specifically our Dean sir V.Swami Das sir is very polite and humble he always supports their students. In Engineering there is a total of eight semesters in which each semester consisted of two class tests and one final end sem exam. Among CT1 & CT2 best one is counted and then finally end sem. And in the final exam, internal marks are consists of Ca's ( class assignment) DHA's( daily home assignment). Exams are held at regular intervals which are already given in the academic calendar.

There are not so many internship opportunities for students but they prepare their students in such a way that they get jobs easier in other best companies as well. Many GD we conducted time to time to enhance the communication skills of an individual and also subjects like Carrier guidance and resume making are taught by teachers itself to prepare the best resume of the students. Also, I feel that providing just a job or placement is not so important but providing other skills is more important not for a specific company but for our life.

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

In B.tech fee structure per year is INR 13,200 which is very less as compared to any other reputed institute. And the hostel cost is also very less as compared to other reputed college and all over the cost of the whole course is less than 50,000 INR. The college also provides scholarship to the students by UP scholarship and also provide reservation to other backward castes. Campus placement is not very high if we compare it to other institutes. But, I believe that also it depends on the student's capability.

There are certainly not any fest and all conducted by facilities but there are timely competitions conducted between inter faculty and intra faculty competitions which mainly for students to enhance their skills and their talent like singing, poem writing, dancing, instrument playing, anchoring, nukkad Natak, etc. There is a library in college one central library for all and one library for engineering faculty and available for all the students. There are not many groups run by students but there is one which is GDSC run by one of our colleagues.
