Remarks
This college is located near my Pg and it is a morning college. I don't have to travel much and I have opted for both Bcom and Ca. The syllabus for both the course is the same. Our college environment is comparable good to other colleges providing admission on the basis of cut-off percentage. Just application form is to be downloaded online and the rest process is offline.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is under the university of calcutta and follow the Cbcs system i.e. credit based choice system. The syllabus is graspable and the highly knowledgeable teaching staff make the concepts more easy. Exam structure is also easy 6 exams are held in period of 3 years.
Placement Experience
The college also conducts placement and provides internship opportunities from the second year where companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit to hire students for accounting and auditing jobs. Some are also hired as a tax consultant. Average placement is around 3 lacs with a highest of 10 lacs per annum. Around 70% of students get placement. I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is feasible. As it is a government-affiliated college the fee structure is legit and affordable for people of all classes of society. Fees is to be paid at starting of each semester. Students can also avail of loan scholarship facilities details of which is available in the college website where they can enquire about the respective topic.
Campus Life
Cricket football tennis badminton etc are being conducted in our college. The college even has a separate room full of indoor games like carrom table tennis etc. There is a It lab with 10 computers installed and also a large library with wide no of books. The college organises a fest in the month of December every year for the newly admitted students where 2nd and 3rd year students also take part. The college also has its own website.
